Last minute Festival Decoration Ideas!

Last minute Festival Decoration Ideas!

The crazy work week, and managing household work combined with Diwali this year falling on a week day, got me really worked up and I was really struggling to keep up with the daily routine, work and strong desire for celebrating tradition. Yes, I was tired and was in no mood for doing anything special for Diwali this year. But of course, a part of me felt sad and seeing my little one all excited about Diwali made me want to create some quick makeshift festive look for Diwali look…and here is what I ended up pulling off, with stuff I could find in my house. As we embark into this festive season, I hope to sprinkle little inspiration for your own festive moments.

Yes, I literally ransacked my garden to create this look that you are seeing below, and also to decorate rest of the house with fresh flowers (I didn’t take those pics due to lack of time.)

And used the table runners ( which I have tons in store, as I am obsessed with them), to give these chairs festive Indian look.

I will let you enjoy the setting that I pulled off in literally 15 mins ( phew!!) and do leave your comments if you liked it.

This last minute decoration ideas show some serious talent as it looks like a professionally done decoration. Absolutely love it! Especially the pastel tone of the flowers and the shimmering effect of the candles through the glass-silver candle holder.

Would love to see the next post on tips on flower arrangement (because you do it so beautifully) and guidance on matching color tones in home decor.
